In Japanese Wabi-Sabi means “Away of living that focuses on finding beauty within the imperfections of life and accepting peacefully the natural cycle of growth and decay.”
This is a collection of pieces I create using the pinch bowl making methods. The forms and shapes are what comes to me and not something I choose to control into creating.
I like to make these as a way of my own personal expression to bring to life the essence of beauty lies in all that we create and do with love … life might not be perfect but beauty always exists, when we choose to see it. Each piece is handmade from a lump of clay, and the colors are always cone in the minimal way to bring out the form of the pieces rather than what they have on them.
